Wedding Cakes

Your wedding cake is the centrepiece of your reception, and we take that responsibility seriously. We work closely with every couple to design a cake that reflects their personal style, whether that means a minimalist three-tier buttercream cake adorned with seasonal blooms, a dramatic fondant creation with hand-painted details, or a trendy naked cake with cascading fresh fruit. We offer tastings at our studio so you can sample flavours and discuss design ideas in person. Our wedding cakes serve anywhere from 30 to 300 guests, and we handle delivery and setup at venues across Melbourne and the surrounding regions.

Birthday Cakes

From a child's first birthday smash cake to a sophisticated 50th celebration, our birthday cakes are designed to delight. We can create themed cakes featuring favourite characters, hobbies or colour schemes, or keep things classic with a beautifully decorated round or square cake. Every birthday cake is baked fresh on the day before your event to ensure maximum flavour and freshness. We are happy to accommodate specific requests such as number cakes, drip cakes or cakes with photo-printed edible toppers.

Anniversary Cakes

Mark a special anniversary with a cake that honours the journey. Our anniversary cakes range from intimate two-person desserts to grand centrepieces for large parties. Christening and Baptism Cakes

Welcome a new addition to the family with a gentle, beautifully crafted christening cake. We specialise in soft pastel designs with delicate details such as hand-moulded sugar figurines, lace patterns and fondant bows. These cakes can be designed to complement your event's colour scheme and are available in single, double or triple tiers.

Our Custom Design Process

Every celebration cake begins with a conversation. We want to understand your vision, your event and the people you are celebrating with. Here is how the process works from enquiry to delivery.

First, you get in touch through our contact page or by phone. Share as many details as you can about your event, including the date, guest count, any theme or colour preferences, and flavour ideas. Within two business days, we will respond with initial thoughts and arrange a consultation if needed.

During the consultation, either in person at our studio or via video call, we discuss design options in detail. If you have inspiration photos from Pinterest or Instagram, bring them along. We will sketch preliminary concepts and recommend flavour pairings that suit your vision. For wedding cakes, we offer a complimentary tasting session with up to four flavour combinations.

Once the design is confirmed, we provide a detailed quote and request a 50 per cent deposit to secure your date. The remaining balance is due one week before delivery. We keep you updated throughout the process and are always open to adjustments as plans evolve.

Flavour Options

A beautiful cake should taste as extraordinary as it looks. Our flavour menu includes both classic and contemporary options to suit every palate. Popular sponge flavours include traditional vanilla, rich chocolate, zesty lemon, almond, carrot with warm spices, and white chocolate and raspberry. Fillings range from fresh fruit compotes and lemon curd to salted caramel, Nutella ganache and passionfruit mousse. Each tier of a multi-tier cake can feature a different flavour, giving your guests a delightful variety to enjoy.

Fondant vs Buttercream

The finish of your cake affects both its look and taste. Fondant provides a smooth, polished surface that is ideal for intricate designs, sharp edges and sculpted elements. It holds up well in warmer conditions, making it a practical choice for outdoor events. Buttercream, on the other hand, offers a softer, more rustic appearance and a rich, creamy flavour that many guests prefer. We can also combine the two, using fondant for structural elements and buttercream for decorative piping and texture.

Lead Time and Ordering

Custom celebration cakes require a minimum lead time of two weeks. This allows us to source the finest ingredients, prepare decorative elements and dedicate the time your cake deserves. For wedding cakes and highly detailed designs, we recommend booking at least six to eight weeks in advance, especially during the busy spring and summer seasons. Last-minute orders may be possible depending on our schedule, so please do not hesitate to ask if you are in a rush.
